(DBL) DONS BASKETBALL LEAGUE(EST. 2012 - 2019)
An impoverished community focused outreach program that is free for all youth, and at no cost to parents.
Mainly for kids that desire to be active in sports but can not afford to pay for AAU. The DBL administered a
18-week intensive summer basketball league. The league enrolled approximately 240 disadvantaged youth
(ages 12–16) through its 20 teams. The basketball games simulated the authentic NBA experience.
DBL incorporated mandatory community service, educational and character building classes, life skills
workshops, and physical fitness. Kids were giving a well balanced free lunch during practices and game days.

DONS Basketball League 4 day tournament for youth
ages 12 to 17 hosted in Durham, NC on Aug. 16th-19th, 2018. Twenty teams will competed to win the ultimate
DBL VDON Championship Title. The DBAA is a celebration
of our youth, diversity and community unity. In addition
C4C hosted 20+ events (i.e Kids Carnival, Comedy Show,
Outdoor Music Festival, Step Show, Skate Party, Gospel Show, Wellness Retreat, to name a few during the four
day tournament.
