Elder's Celebration of Life, Christmas Party

Sunday, December 13th, 2015

C4C host an annual party for the elderly at the Rose Manor Rest Home.The elder get the opportunity to play BINGO, Name that Tune, and compete in a dance contest. Food and refreshments are provided by C4C and the elders are allowed to invite family and friends.

The founder of C4C dresses up as Santa and surprises the elderly with gifts for everyone. 

C4C Community Summit

FREE TO THE PUBLIC: The Community Summit includes a series of workshops designed to engage youth, along with the community in meaningful discussions and provide important guidance on how to transcend the negative circumstances they face in their lives daily. This series promotes attributes in youth and attempts to reduce risk and problems they may endure in their environment, school and home. (i.e. Gang Prevention/Intervention, Conflict Resolution, Principle of Success, Job Readiness) In addition, C4C partners with service providers such as CAARE Free Health Clinic, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, Book Harvest, etc.The highlights of the summit will be a Book Fair distributing over 500 free books, a Poetry Slam of inspirational dialog and Community Forum. 

DBL Awards Banquet

Campaign4Change, host an annually awards banquet for all players and participants in the DBL. Awards ranges from Team MVPs', Team Mom of the Year, AllStar and PlayOffs MVPs', Academic Achievement Award, Community Service Award, Most Valuable Parents Award and a host of other awards. The highest honor is the Vegas Don "MOP AWARD" which stands for the most valuable Player on and off the court. To receive this award the Player has to diplay outstanding character, complete additional community service and attend all DBL Educational Workshops. In return, the recipient receives tons of gifts with his award. Gifts have included, NBA tickets, NFL Tickets, Show Tickets, LeBron kicks, IPAD, Dre Beats and much more. Carolina Idol

Casting Calls: Oct. 22nd & Nov. 19th, 2015

Contestants will be judge on a scale of (1-10) by 3 professional judges on:

(Showmanship/Creativity, Sound Quality, Appearance/Poise, Audience Appeal)

 

All Ages will compete for the ultimate title:(Ages 15 & Up) Singers. Rappers, 

Dancers, Musicians, etc. can compete! 3 finalist will be chosen and the 3 finalist 

will compete doing a different performance for the Grand Prize of $1,000 cash, 

and crowned the Carolina Idol.

King & Queen Kid's Fashion Peagant

Jan 9th, 2016

Kids ages 5 - 14 boys and girls competes for Cash & Prizes! The boys will compete

to be crowned King and the young ladies will compete to be crowned Queen. There will 

also be 2nd and 3rd place winners as well, 2nd place winners will be honored as Prince 

& Princess and 3rd place winners will be honored as Don & Diva. There will be lots of 

great prizes for all winners.

 

Prizes includes: CASH, GIFTS, SHOW TICKETS, 

GIFT CERTIFICATES, JEWELRY SPA PACKAGES, and much more.

Adopt-An-Elderly

@ Rose Manor Rest Home

A day of community outreach every month organized and initiated by C4C for the past

five years. Preferably the last Sunday of each month C4C members and groups of youth visits

Rose Manor Rest Home to spend time and pay homage to the elderly. This is a community

service mission with the deliberate intentions to foster camaraderie with our elderly forebears,

to ensure that today’s youth communicate their gratitude and respect. Through conversations

and providing small necessities to the elderly. Youth participants uplift the spirits of the elderly

by giving them the most valuable resource of all, their time.

Rev. Barber Bull City Field Trip

in Goldsboro, North Carolina

An experience of a lifetime for a group of privilege youth to worship together with one of the

most prominent ministers in the nation. Rev. Dr. William Barber, President of the NC, NAACP

will host a special Sunday service and Luncheon at his very own Greenleaf Christian Church

of Christ in Goldsboro, NC. In collaboration with Campaign4Change, Rev, Barber will meet

and greet with the youth in his very own living room. Reverend Barber facilitates a round table

discussion with them about their history, faith and today’s issues.

Church & Family Reunion

April 26th, 2015

Church, Family & Friends Reunion, a time to spend the whole day fellowshipping and socializing with one another. Everyone attends church together, then everyone visits the elderly at Rose Manor Rest Home and the finale is the C4C Crew, family and friends come together and enjoy a pot luck

dinner, with music, games, prizes and fun.

Rap Idol

Jan. 9th, 2016

A lyrical content talent competition. Contestants will be required to rap about true idols like MLKing, Obama, Harriet Tubman, etc. This contest is to inspire positive writing from those who have been custom to writing degrading content in the raps. The winner willwin a trophy, cash prize and crowned the "Rap Idol"
